Statins In The News…Again..

The growing list of serious negative side effects caused by statin drugs now includes memory loss and depression, based on a new study published in the Cochrane Library.  Researchers discovered that the vast majority of drug trials allegedly showing statins to be safe have been conducted by drug companies, and that way too many people are being prescribed the dangerous medications.

You Should Know..

A 2008 study tracked the incidence of cancer based on how many antibiotics study participants took over a fixed period of time. Those taking 2-5 antibiotic prescriptions had a 27% increase in cancers compared to those who took none. Those taking 6 or more prescriptions had a 37% increase in cancers.
